Pose of the month for February © It`s all about heart ©: Heart focused meditation and anahata chakra opening poses will feel so good after all the core work we did this month! We will get our circulation pumping as well as open up tight chest & shoulder muscles, release our thoracic region and let go of stress from our bodies, minds, and spirits. So come out and feel the blissful feeling of completing an energetic hour of power followed by some time to relax and let go in savasana.

 Living Yoga | Heart Smart Month and Yoga

Heart and Stroke month is a great time to do yoga… not only does it help you become more physically fit it also helps reduce stress and encourage a more holistic connection with your body, mind and spirit. Hopefully this connection lets you live your life in a more balanced way, doing what’s is right for you being mindful in your life, mindful about what you are eating, who you surround yourself with, what impact you have on others, the environment and energy! I encourage you to donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation online here or through your local canvasser, hoops for hearts and other kids programs however this month at yoga I won`t be collecting donations. Instead I will be collecting entries!

That`s right, for every class you sign in I will enter your name into a draw for a mystery prize at the end of the month! Good luck! It’s my donation to your personal heart and stroke foundation J The more classes you attend the more good you do for your own heart! Reducing your risk for heart and stroke… so make the time, commit and be good to yourself, let it spiral around and its good for everyone!!!
